Guillermo Deisler had brought Visual Poetry from Chile into exile.
After a few years of correspondence with him I had understood
how much this had to do with my own work. So finally we both
called all those who – scattered in our small East-Germany –
had seeked to unite text and image.

First exhibition of Visual Poetry in the Club of Cultural Workers, Berlin 1988

before and afterwards are done montages for anthologies, portfolios and
for my own drawer, of which only a few examples can be shown here:
